Two of the most popular diets over the last few years are undoubtedly keto and vegetarian. And, both sides have ardent supporters that fight tooth and nail with each other over which is better.
I’m more of a keto person, but I have a lot of respect for people who are vegetarian or vegan. It’s definitely not the easiest dietary choice to make.
Just because some people think their diet is superior doesn't mean they’re right. There are many benefits to each diet but, there’s been an even newer diet emerging on the scene lately, which is “ketotarian” or a plant-based keto diet. Basically, a plant-based keto diet is a way to enjoy all the benefits of a keto diet while causing the least amount of harm to animals. It’s the best of both worlds.
Why do I bring this up?
One of our speakers at the Keto Symposium is Dr. Will Cole, author of Ketotarian – a book on navigating a (mostly) plant-based ketogenic diet.
Dr. Cole will be sharing his knowledge with us at the Keto Symposium – talking about how you can get all the benefits of keto without eating meat and dairy with every meal.
Dr. Cole was recently named one of the top 50 functional-medicine and integrative doctors in the nation so he has a wealth of knowledge you won’t find anywhere else! (You don’t have to be vegetarian or vegan to learn something from Dr. Cole’s talk).
